Mitakhi Mitakhi, an Alaskan Malamute, was rescued after nine years as a show dog and breeder.  She had a very busy life, being driven around the countryside, winning ribbon after ribbon at various dog shows, and in between shows she was busy having puppies.  Mitakhi’s owners were relocating to a smaller property and winding down their showing and breeding activities, so they could not keep Mitakhi and another dog. Through a friend, Mitakhi and the other dog were rescued and re-homed by The Animal Rehoming Service.
